As years go driftin by,
Each memory will prove to you,

That while I left you far too soon,
I did not go alone,
For the father sent his angels,
To gently take me home,
Take comfort when you think of me,

Never think you are on your own
I`d never let you walk alone
When you`re down and want to cry

But you need never feel sad,
Until it`s time for your journey home

If you ask me how I am doing I would say just fine
But the truth is if you could read my mind

After all this time you are still with me that is true

Then the traveler in the dark
Thanks you for your tiny spark.
How could he see where to go
If you did not twinkle so?
In the dark-blue sky you keep,
And often through my curtains peep,
For you never shut an eye,
Till the sun is in the sky.
As your bright and tiny spark
Lights the traveler in the dark,
Though I know not what you are,

When the sun shines upon the dew covered grasses,
Remember me, my smiles,and gentle, loving caresses.
When the rain falls from the darkened clouded sky,
Remember me and the tears I did cry.
When lightening flashes through the dark nights,
Remember me, and how I searched for what was right.
When thunder rolls and rumbles through the air,
Remember me, and I will always be there.
When you see a rainbow arcing across the sky,

When you see wondrous things such as waterfalls,

When you hear a child laugh in joy and glee,

When you see someone that struggles to be recognized,

When you see a moon shining in the sky so bright,

When you see the wonderful and fascinating things this world has to hold,

Is a slow and painful climb.
But all the feelings that are now
So vivid and so real
Can't hold their fresh intensity
As time begins to heal.
No wound so deep will ever go
Entirely away;
Yet every hurt becomes
A little less from day to day.
Nothing can erase the painful
Imprints on your mind;
But there are softer memories
That time will let you find.
Though your heart won't let the sadness
